Medical disclaimer
This guide explains a treatment in general. Whether it suits you can only be decided after a dentist has examined you and your X-rays.
General information only
Everything on allon6guide.com is general information about full-arch implant treatment. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan and not a substitute for an examination by a dentist who has seen your mouth, your X-rays and your medical history.
Results and timings vary
Healing times, the number of visits, the need for bone grafting and the long-term result depend on your bone, your general health, smoking, medicines, gum health and how well the implants are cared for. Figures in the guide, such as typical healing periods, describe what is usual, not what will happen to you.
Tell your dentist about your health
Some conditions and medicines change how implant surgery is planned or whether it is advisable at all, for example uncontrolled diabetes, blood thinners, bisphosphonates or other bone medicines, radiotherapy to the head and neck, and heavy smoking. Always give the treating dentist a full list, and talk to your own doctor before stopping any medicine.
If something is wrong now
This website cannot help in an emergency. If you have heavy bleeding, swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, or a high temperature after dental treatment, contact a local doctor or emergency service straight away. In the European Union and many other countries the emergency number is 112.
Treatment in another country
Having treatment in Türkiye means that your aftercare may take place in a different country, with a different health system and different rules on cover. Read the articles on our blog about insurance and aftercare, and check with your own insurer before you travel.
Who publishes this
The guide is published by Precious Dental, which benefits if you choose it. See the advertising disclosure.
