Questions readers ask
Brief answers to what English-speaking patients most often ask us, with links to the chapter that goes deeper.
All-on-6 is a fixed row of teeth on six implants in each treated jaw. In Antalya it takes two visits (4 and 5 nights) 3 to 6 months apart. At Precious Dental it costs £6,500 for both jaws, including hotel and transfers. With good care implants can last 10 to 20 years, but they need checking for life.
These answers are kept short on purpose. For more detail, see chapter 1, chapter 3, chapter 6 and chapter 7.
Questions readers ask
How long does the whole process take?
Usually 3 to 6 months from the implants going in to the final teeth, with two stays in Antalya of 4 and 5 nights.
Does it hurt?
The surgery is done under local anaesthetic or sedation. Afterwards, swelling and tenderness for a few days are normal and respond well to painkillers.
Will I fly home with no teeth?
No. Fixed temporary teeth are fitted on the first visit.
What is your price?
£6,500 for both jaws together, covering implants, zirconia teeth, titanium bar, temporary teeth, extractions, hotel, transfers, X-rays and medication. Flights are extra.
Why is it cheaper in Türkiye?
Our view as a clinic: mainly lower costs for staff, premises and laboratory work. The implant brands are the same ones used in the UK and the US. Check any clinic carefully all the same.
How long will the implants last?
The British Society of Periodontology says often 10 to 20 years with good care before redoing is needed. No treatment is permanent, and the teeth on top may need repairs sooner.
Which implant brands do you use?
MegaGen, Neodent or Straumann. The brand is written in your plan and in your implant passport.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes, in writing: a lifetime guarantee on the implant and abutment (we replace a failed implant once, free of charge), and 5 years on crowns and bridges. The full terms are on our guarantee page.
Who looks after me once I am home?
Your local dentist handles check-ups and cleaning, using your implant passport and copies of every scan. You can reach us on WhatsApp with any question.
Will the team speak English?
Please ask us before you book which language your consultation and treatment can be carried out in. Every important point, from the plan to the aftercare instructions, is also given to you in writing.
Will insurance pay?
Rarely for treatment abroad, and rules differ by country and policy. Ask your insurer or health service in writing before you book.
